Available This Spring: CultureSpan Workshop in Global Corporate Diplomacy

Helping American Business Executives Develop Effective Global Teams, Best Global Practices and Truly Global Mindsets

NBTA, in partnership with Business for Diplomatic Action and The Thunderbird School of Global Management, has announced the launch of CultureSpan, a workshop in global corporate diplomacy. This workshop is now available to all NBTA members.

A New Tool for Global Business

CultureSpan is intended to help unicultural people learn how to deal with new multicultural realities. Participants will learn to find commanalities across cultures, develop practical ways to address sensitivities to cultural differences and build a cross-cultural consensus.

How the Program Works

This one-day interactive workshop made up of 25-30 American or International executives, whether they be seasoned global managers or novices, is led by experts from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and Business for Diplomatic Action. The course is based on solid cross-cultural research to include The GLOBE Program and Roper Reports Worldwide. An advanced toolkit of resources for ongoing use and future reference is provided.

Tom Miller, Vice President of the Business for Diplimatic Action, will present CultureSpan and GLOBE research to attendees at the 2008 NBTA International Convention & Exposition in Los Angeles July 27-30.
