To address the needs of today’s globally-oriented business travel profession, NBTA became a founding partner of the Paragon Agreement in 2002. This global alliance of business travel associations of North America, South America, Europe and Australasia provides an important international forum to exchange ideas among business travel professionals worldwide.
NBTA Regional Affiliates
NBTA Asia Pacific – a wholly owned subsidiary association of NBTA, was created on March 30, 2007 by merging the Australasian Business Travel Association (ABTA) and NBTA. ABTA members were transferred as full NBTA members, improving not only their membership benefits but also their access to global professional development programs and forums. NBTA Asia Pacific's charter is to provide quality education, research, networking opportunities, and build relations with government authorities and political parties in the region. The association is committed to providing excellent membership value.
NBTA Canada – a subsidiary of NBTA, is an independent Canadian research and education firm dedicated to providing a cooperative environment for information exchange between purchasers and vendors of business travel. NBTA Canada is committed to providing integral benchmarking data and educational exchanges for companies in Canada and abroad to ensure their purchasing practices are consistent with those required for success in the Canadian marketplace.
NBTA Mexico – a subsidiary of NBTA, will serve corporate and government travel professionals, providing networking opportunities, education/professional development events, and resources such as research and industry news. NBTA Mexico will be a buyer-led organization, and the group's direction will be determined by a board made up of Mexican corporate travel professionals and representatives of the NBTA parent organization.
