• International/Domestic security issues-terrorism threats, bombings, etc.
• International/Domestic health issues-i.e. contagion, possible epidemics
• International/Domestic safety issues-earthquake preparedness when traveling, civil unrest, evacuation procedures

Objectives 

• To be the first contact point for information, awareness, and preparation 
• To be considered the industry experts on any type of domestic/international risk management
• Source of information and assistance for membership, legislative, and media
• Safety awareness is still critical and should not be overlooked
