PF1 - Selling your value to Senior Management
During this session, several experienced travel managers from multinational corporations took part in an open discussion on how to communicate effectively the value of travel management.   They also shared their experiences on how to successfully participate in a global travel program.

TE1 - Data Aggregation or Aggravation
Representatives of data aggregation companies discussed  the basic requirements for gathering data in various Latin American countries and consolidating it on a global level.

ID1 - Corporate Card Programs - Benefit or Hindrance
Participants explored the pros and cons of corporate card programs within Latin America and how compliance may or may not benefit one's bottom line.  Led by a senior travel manager, two corporate charge card representatives  discussed corporate card benefits (to the traveler as well as the company) and the difficulties facing the Latin American travel manager when implementing a corporate card program.

More travel buyers are assuming the responsibility for meetings management.  Many are required to collaborate and work more closely with their meeting planner counterparts.  This session addressed  the fundamental differences between managing transient business travel and managing meetings.  Presenters identified those "components" that are different and how they can be optimally managed to deliver value to all stakeholders.

TE4 - The Dynamics of Hotel Sourcing, Pricing and Booking Channels
Prominent hotel representatives discussed  the "state of the industry" with regard to hotel sourcing and pricing.  The session also focused on the preferred method of booking in today's environment of internet and direct channel capabilities.

ID4 - Creating and Responding to an RFP
Creating an RFP is simple when you know your objectives.  Responding to an unsolicited RFP is quite a difficult task for suppliers.  In the age of "everyone is sending RFPs", this session addressed the many concerns facing all buyers and suppliers when engaging in an RFP process.
