Location
All Core Weeks are held at the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management - Houston, TX. 

Who Should Attend?
The CCTE program is open to anyone with two years of current experience in the business travel field.  For basic program information, see the main CCTE page.

How Much Will This Certification Cost?
Each Core Week (1 and 2) in the classroom is $1300 for NBTA members.  NBTA chapter members pay $1500 for each week, and non-members pay $1800.  Core week registration fees include continental breakfast, course materials, the exam and the closing luncheon.  CCTE elective courses (5 required) range between $185 and $225 for NBTA members.  NBTA chapter members and non-members pay reasonably higher tiered fees.  Core Week 2 Online is $1500 for NBTA members, $1800 for NBTA chapter members, and $2200 for non-members.

Transportation and accommodations are not included in fees.  NBTA estimates the total cost of the CCTE certification course is between $5000 and $7500. 

Scholarships for CCTE Core Weeks and electives are available through the NBTA Foundation.

Core Week Housing
Using the following information, please send housing requirements to NBTA's Education Department 

One King bed ($89) / Two Double Beds ($99) Non-Smoking Only.  These rates are for 2008.  The hotel is undergoing a major renovation and rates for 2009 will be $109 and $119, respectively.

Application
New partipants are required to submit an application.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing and faxed or mailed to NBTA.  Cancellations for Core Week classes must be received two weeks before classes start.  Cancellations  made before these dates will receive a refund less a $200 administrative fee.  No refunds will be given after these dates.

NBTA Foundation Scholarship Users
Cancellation will result in the deduction of a $200 cancellation fee from your scholarship funds.
