Alexandria, VA (November 13, 2007) - The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) today announced the makeup of its Allied Leadership Council (ALC). The ALC represents NBTA’s Allied, or supplier, Members by acting as a voice for the Allied community within NBTA. Members of the Allied Leadership Council are appointed by the NBTA President for two-year terms. The ALC President and Vice President are also members of the NBTA Board of Directors.
The NBTA ALC members will be:

Solombrino and Deliberto are beginning their second terms as President and Vice President of the NBTA ALC.

Solombrino has a career of more than 25 years in the chauffeured ground transportation industry. Under his leadership, Dav El Chauffeured Transportation Network has expanded to be one of the largest privately-held transportation providers in the world, operating in more than 570 cities around the globe. Solombrino has received numerous industry awards, including NBTA’s Industry Icon Award in 2007, NBTA’s Allied Member of the Year Award in 2002, and the New England Business Travel Association Award for Leadership and Professional Excellence in 2004. Business Travel News recognized Solombrino as one of the Business Travel Industry’s Most Influential Executives in 1999 for his innovative approach to chauffeured services. In addition to his work with NBTA, Solombrino has been an active member and leader in multiple transportation industry organizations. He is Founder and Past President of both the Massachusetts Limousine Association and the National Limousine Association.

As Executive Vice President, Supplier Yield Management, Deliberto is responsible for the optimal execution of supplier agreements including air, hotel and ground transportation agreements for Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) globally. He is also responsible for worldwide supplier advertising. He previously has served as CWT Vice President of Account Management and Vice President of Operations. Deliberto has conducted education programs and moderated panels for local Chapters of NBTA and at NBTA events around the world. Deliberto also serves on the Board of Directors for Harvey’s Travel, a Canadian partner of CWT.
In addition to the appointed positions of ALC President and ALC Vice President, the NBTA Board of Directors includes one elected Allied position as of 2007, and will include two elected Allied positions as of 2008, bringing the total number of supplier seats on the NBTA Board to four.
