Nearly 60 Corporate Travel Professionals Participate in Core Week 2 of NBTA’s CCTE Program
Fifty-eight corporate travel buyers and suppliers gather at the University of Houston this week to participate in Core Week 2 of the National Business Travel Association’s (NBTA) Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) Program. This intensive five-day session focuses on business writing, conflict resolution, risk management, decision tools, yield management, learning styles and managerial techniques.
The CCTE program, the industry’s only certification course offered to corporate travel professionals, is open to anyone with two years of current experience in the business travel field. Throughout the program, students will gain an enhanced understanding of future trends and directions in corporate travel, improve systems and approaches to management techniques, enhance their company’s financial and strategic goals, and achieve professional development to aid in functioning more productively within corporate cultures.
NBTA offers three levels of professional development for corporate travel professionals: the Fundamentals of Business Travel Management/CTE program, the CCTE program, and the Global Leadership Professional (GLP) program. For more information on these and other offerings from the leading provider of corporate travel education, see www.nbta.org/education.
