Annual Conference Expands to Include Added Day, More Education Sessions; 600 Corporate Travel Professional Expected to Attend

Alexandria, VA (November 28, 2006) – The National Business Travel Association (NBTA), the leading provider of education, advocacy, research and information to corporate travel professionals, is pleased to once again partner with the Brazilian Business Travel Association (ABGEV) to present the 2007 Latin American Corporate Travel & Technology Exchange (LACTTE), hosted February 5-7 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In its second year, the conference is expected to draw more than 600 professionals from the United State and Latin America for the region’s largest corporate travel event.
Attendees of this year’s LACTTE will see a significant expansion to the conference’s program, including 15 sessions, up from 10 sessions in 2006, across three education tracks; an additional two hours of exhibition time in the Technology Pavilion product showcase; and an extra day to accommodate even more professional development and networking opportunities. Education sessions will focus on a variety of topics aimed at improving corporate travel professionals’ knowledge and expertise in the Latin American region. The focus of these sessions including self-booking realities, travel management company relationships, developments in the aviation industry, travel risk management, travel policy compliance and supplier channel distribution.
