Alexandria, VA (September 18, 2006) – The National Business Travel Association (NBTA), the leading provider of corporate travel education, advocacy, news, resources and networking, is pleased to announce the first-ever NBTA Business Travel Financial Forum:  A Wall Street Look at the Business of Business Travel, hosted March 26 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Hotel in New York City.  The event will provide a high-level analysis of the key issues impacting the corporate travel industry.

NBTA President and CEO Suzanne Fletcher commented, “Critical analysis of the factors impacting the business travel industry today and in the future is vital for travel managers to successfully drive value for their companies and for suppliers to position themselves for success.  NBTA is pleased to offer its members the opportunity to partake in discussions with experts from Wall Street, the federal government and the business travel industry to learn more about the travel-related issues that will affect their companies so they may make informed, strategic decisions in the future.”

Topics slated to be discussed at the event include developments in the airline and hotel industries, travel taxes and fees, the future role of corporate travel and an economic forecast of the travel industry at-large.

The NBTA Foundation, the education and research arm of NBTA, will host its annual Gala Dinner following the Business Travel Financial Forum.  The black-tie affair brings together corporate travel managers and suppliers for an elegant evening of networking and showing their support for the advancement of corporate travel.
