Alexandria, VA (October 27, 2005) – The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) announced today recent staff changes that include the addition of Eric Casey, Senior Director of Marketing, Membership and Communications, and Dan Easley, Senior Manager of Government Relations, to assist in enhancing services and benefits for the association’s more than 2,500 members. Additionally, NBTA’s Hank Roeder was promoted earlier this year to Vice President of Domestic and Global Operations.

“The addition of Eric and Dan to NBTA’s team, and Hank’s well-deserved promotion, will help the association further fulfill its mission to provide the best resources to corporate travel managers,” commented NBTA Executive Director and COO Bill Connors, CTC.

Casey joined NBTA this summer as the Senior Director of the newly realigned Membership, Marketing and Communications department.  Prior to joining NBTA, Casey served as vice president and number two staff executive for the Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association, where he oversaw non-dues income programs, product development, strategic marketing and supplier relations.  As Senior Director of Membership, Marketing and Communications, he is responsible for overseeing the expansion of the association’s membership, communication with the association’s members and other stakeholders, and growth and diversification of revenue streams.

The addition of Easley this month as Senior Manager of Government Relations will assist in further strengthening NBTA’s presence on Capitol Hill.  Prior to joining NBTA, he served as Manager of Government Relations at APCO Worldwide, where he was tasked with working on transportation and homeland security-related issues for corporate and government clients.  Easley is responsible for organizing NBTA’s lobbying efforts in the legislative and executive branches, developing policy and managing NBTAPAC events and programs.

“NBTA is committed to its role as the voice of corporate travel,” Connors continued. “By expanding our government relations and membership, marketing and communications departments, we are even better equipped to expand the benefits we provide members.”

Prior to his promotion to vice president, Roeder served as NBTA’s Senior Director of Domestic and International Operations.  In his new role, Roeder oversees and directs the association’s international and government relations programs.  He recently celebrated his 14-year anniversary of joining NBTA.
