ALC President Solombrino and Vice President Deliberto will Serve on NBTA Board

Alexandria, VA (October 24, 2005) – The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) announced today Scott Solombrino, president and CEO of Dav El Chauffeured Transportation Network, has been named President of the association’s Allied Leadership Council (ALC). Rob Deliberto, executive vice president of Supplier Relations of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), will join Solombrino on the ALC as Vice President. In their roles as leaders of the ALC, both will serve on NBTA’s Board of Directors.

The mission of the ALC is to represent NBTA’s Allied Members by acting as a voice for the Allied community within NBTA, and to assure a strong Allied/NBTA relationship addressing common interests facing the travel industry. Members of the Allied Leadership Council are appointed by the NBTA President for two-year terms.

Solombrino’s career in the chauffeured ground transportation industry spans 28 years. He founded and served as president of both the Massachusetts Limousine Association and the National Limousine Association. He serves on the Industry Advisory Council of the Institute of Business Travel Management, NBTA’s education and research foundation, and previously served as Vice President of the ALC. In 2002, NBTA awarded him the Allied Member of the Year Award, and in 2004 the New England Business Travel Association presented him the Award for Leadership and Professional Excellence.
Deliberto, a member of NBTA for more than 15 years, has 25 years of experience in the travel industry with positions in operations, sales, marketing, training, automation, and general management. As executive vice president of Supplier Relations of CWT, he is responsible for developing supplier strategies and building relationships between CWT and airlines, hotels, car rental companies and global distribution systems (GDS).
