On March 30, 2007, the Australasian Business Travel Association (ABTA) and NBTA merged creating a regional entity called NBTA Asia Pacific – a wholly owned subsidiary association of NBTA. ABTA members were transferred as full NBTA members, improving not only their membership benefits but also their access to global professional development programs and forums.
NBTA Asia Pacific has 13 years experience in the Asia Pacific marketplace bringing to NBTA nearly 300 Direct and Allied members. NBTA Asia Pacific has an established education professional development program called the Certified Business Travel Executive (CBTE.)
NBTA Asia Pacific’s charter is to provide quality education, research, networking opportunities, and build relations with government authorities and political parties in the region. The association is committed to providing excellent membership value. Collectively our members represent the largest group of business travel industry professionals in the world.
